We would like to take a moment to welcome you to our office and assure you that you will receive the very best of care available for your condition. In order to familiarize you with our office procedures we would like to explain some of our policies:
It is our policy that all patients keep their accounts current. Patients are financially and legally responsible for charges incurred, regardless of insurance coverage. Integrative Med Solutions accepts cash, check or Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover card. Payment is expected at the time services are rendered. There is a $15 fee for any returned checks. Any products purchased must be paid in full upon receipt. Items may only be returned unopened. Please give the office a call to inquire about our current fees.
Flex Spending Accounts (FSA’s)
Flex spending accounts are welcomed at Integrative Med Solutions for both acupuncture and naturopathic medicine consultations. Any expense that is considered a deductible medical expense by the Internal Revenue Service and is not reimbursed through your insurance can be reimbursed through the Flexible Spending Account.
For the perfect gift of health, gift certificates are available for any of our services. Gift certificates are not available for return or exchange and are valid for six months after purchase. All gift certificate sales are final.
Explanation of Insurance Coverage
Acupuncture: Many insurance policies do cover acupuncture care but this office makes no representation that yours does. Insurance policies may vary greatly in terms of deductible and percentage of coverage for acupuncture care. Because of the variance from one insurance policy to another, we require that you, the patient, be personally responsible for the payment of your deductibles, as well as any unpaid balances in this office. We will do our best to verify your insurance coverage, and we will bill your insurance in a timely manner.
Please be aware that if we bill your insurance company they have access to all the records in your file at this office. There is no confidentiality in your relationship with your insurance company.

All naturopathic medicine appointments are Out-of Pocket expenses payable by cash, check or credit card. IMS is not a network provider with any insurance plans for naturopathic medicine. You may be able to receive reimbursement directly from your insurance company for your visit. Please check with your insurance company in order to determine if your plan includes out-of-network benefits. If so you can submit a statement from your consultation and the insurance company may reimburse you directly.
Medicare does not cover Naturopathic Medicine or Acupuncture. Please inquire however about any Payment Arrangements that may be convenient for you.
For phone consultations, please have an email or fax available to ensure all necessary paperwork can be completed.
Late Cancellation/No Show
Because of our specialized, high level of service, cancellations and missed appointments affect us significantly. In consideration of our other clients, kindly allow 24 hours notice to cancel or change an appointment. Late cancellations and missed appointments will be billed the full amount to your credit card on file. The exception to cancellation charges include: a) you reschedule your consultation within the week. These fees cover only a portion of the overhead such as such as utilities, office supplies, etc., which still have to be paid whether you are present or not.
Return Policy on Supplements
As part of Integrative Med Solutions’ commitment to quality, we do not resell returned items. You can be confident that every product you receive from us has been kept within our control and under the appropriate conditions from the time received from the manufacturer.
All products purchased directly from our clinic are eligible for a return credit within 30 days. All items ordered directly from our manufacturer are subject to a 25% return processing fee; heat sensitive products, perishable and special order items are not eligible for return credit when purchased directly from manufacturer.
